 What's Up

- danwan

 "What's up?"

The hardest question for some to answer

Their heart is heavy and they mask their difficulties with a false answer

But look up!

look up!

look up!

see

the heavens

the skies

the trees

the beauties that surrounds you

when you look up, up, up!

And speak up!

speak up!

speak up!

we ask you this question

to see how you feel

so we may be a comfort

when the days become long and unbearable

so speak up, up, up!

So don't give up!

don't give up!

don't give up!

you'll overcome that hardship inside you

that you've been battling for weeks, months, years

there's hope and light in the deepest valley

and soon comes the day when the Lord will wipe away every one of your tears

we're always here so that you'll never give up, up, up!

  1. Hi Danwan!
    what's up B) (haha get it :D)
    it's a beautiful poem, it's almost like a song. it's very encouraging!
asking "what's up" to a person is so casual, yet it could be so opening? like what's up opens doors to stories and thoughts about a person's day. we can't know someone and their thoughts completely, but by asking "what's up" we can make the day a little better, build more bridges to a person, and learn a bit more.
an interesting TED talk i'm listening to right now says courage is tell the story with your whole heart. a little random but maybe we can have the courage to speak. it reminds me of our lunch seminars!
but anyways your post is very wholesome, hope you make more! "life begins at the edge of your comfort zone" so make more posts!
