Hidden Perfection

There's a hidden perfection within

the conventionally "imperfect" human.

The slight crevices and subtle cracks upon our skin

each describing life stories; all in union.

What draws thy eye to praise such perfect beings?

When individuals around us display such intriguing tales

I'll take belonging and comfort over lustful feelings

anyday. For good communities bring more joy without fail

If you take anything I say with you, let it be this

Don't allocate too much time, to thy physical appearance.

Trust that it will lead you to a detriorating mental abyss,

Embracing yourself, will prevent self esteem interference.
