27 days
27 days
-- grace
27 days
that's all we had
27 days
living like the last
once it's over
the clock strikes twelve
a slipper lost
the magic fades
our last teenage dream
27 days
our hot girl summer
"absolutely transformational!"
we'd tell bob
from tadpoles to frogs
humans to beaver ballers
memories that (seemingly) never fade
but alas,
time cannot spare
time cannot care
and there comes a day
our golden days
may fade to grey
coast to coast
connections online
a window to a life
strangers to cautious friends
friends to better friends
freedom from pre-understandings
school life brings
27 days
i'll cherish them so
maybe we're planets in our different orbits
asteroids exploring the pockets of the universe
trains passing by
but you are
the stars in my sky—
invisible to the eye
but always there
so wherever we might be in the universe
whatever mountain you have to climb
i'll be there
so
to my golden friends
i love you so <3
